Yongli Peng
Welcome to my homepage! I am a first-year Master student in the Department of Mathematics at Peking University and now I'm attempting to transfer to be a PhD there as well.
I am being advised by Professor Hao Ge. My current research interests are high dimensional statistics and its application in bioinformatic, the stochastic theory in chemical reaction network and how deep learning as well as reinforcement learning can be understood from statistics and applied in biological studies. My academic goal is to seek a better bridge to link biological and mathematical knowledges.
I received my bachelor's degrees in Probability from Mathematical Schoole at Peking University. I finished my undergraduate thesis under Professor Hao Ge's advice.
I am from Wenzhou, a scenic city in southeast China. Outside of math, I enjoy obtaining peace from reading all kinds of literature. Recently I'm obsessed in modern english poems. My favorite poet is Emily Dickinson, a woman who hardly go outside her room while can still write excellent and world-famous poems.
